Driving: Brown Mountain Beach Resort is easiest to reach by car. If you’re already within driving distance, we recommend planning to drive—parking is available on site. Flying: If you’re flying in, the two closest airports are: Asheville Regional Airport (AVL) — about 1.5 hours away Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) — about 1.5 hours away Rental Cars: A rental car is strongly recommended. The venue is tucked into the mountains, and having a car will make getting to and from the airport much easier. Carpooling is encouraged where possible. Once you arrive, everything is close and intentionally relaxed. Getting there is the hardest part—after that, you can settle in.

July in Lenoir is warm and summery, with daytime temperatures typically in the low-to-mid 80s and cooler evenings in the mountains. Expect sunshine, occasional passing showers, and classic mountain summer weather. Most events are planned to be outdoors, taking advantage of the river and surrounding scenery. All meals will be held indoors. We’ll also have thoughtful backup plans in place should weather require a change. We recommend light, breathable attire for daytime events and a layer for the evenings.

A limited number of golf carts are available to rent on a first-come, first-served basis. Golf carts can be helpful for getting around the property, especially between lodging areas and event spaces.
